Suite 402 is particularly interesting because it has windows on both sides, three small offices, and, at each end of the space,  there is a bridge that crosses or partially crosses above the atrium four stories below with views of the activity going on down there. The space is largely open, however, as you can see from the photographs, there are the three small offices. They’re extremely good spaces for private conferences or for consultations. They are not large but they are private. I have always said that it does not take much space to house brains.

Harris Place is the Building with the most soul in New London. The space is filled with light from both sides There are expansive views of the Thames River, the Gold Star Bridge across the Thames, and some of New London’s most beautiful and historic architecture, such as the Citizen’s Bank Building. This is the financial district. Both Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and the Citizens Bank are just across Masonic Street. We are only a block and a half away from the new $80,000,000 Coast Guard Museum which has recently been announced. The expected 800,000 annual visitors will transform the downtown.

Harris Place can be entered from either the north side or the south side into the atrium which is 100 feet long and 30 feet high. The south side is State Street which is full of  restaurants and other conveniences, the north side is Masonic Street and right there, just across the street, is the main New London Post Office with its beautiful WPA mural of New London’s whaling history.

And, speaking of  tenants, we have many wonderful young energetic people in the building. On the fourth floor, this particular floor, we have wellness healing groups,  a real estate consulting company, a  very creative website developer and two engineers. On the other floors of the building there are several artists, other law firms, and three Internet companies
