The introductory rental rate of $11.75 per square foot is for the first year of a two year lease. After the first year the rental rate is the building standard rate of $13.25
per square foot. The rate includes everything except your own electricity and telephone. This is the best rental value in New London

Harris Place is the Building with the most soul in New London. We have artists, art galleries, advertising innovators, internet geniuses, health and wellness care professionals, counselors, attorneys, a children’s school, and others. It is a wonderful group. Please consider joining us. Come take a look anyway. Call or email me, George Waterman, (917)-513-4663  ghw@gwaterman.com    I have owned the building for $28 years.

We here in downtown New London are thrilled by the announcement of the $80 million Coast Guard Museum which will be just a block from  this office. In the last 10 years the gentrification of the downtown has been remarkable. With the announcement of Coast Guard Museum and its anticipated 500,000  annual visitors, New London, in a few years, will be like Mystic Village. It is a wonderful prospect. It’s been too long in coming. This lovely city deserved  its renaissance long ago. But I’m sure that it is about to be here now. Come and join us and be a part of the new New London.

As a new tenant, you would have your choice of  an  entirely new carpet. We always carpet our spaces way above commercial grade so whatever you choose, or may choose, it will be plush and inviting for your clients.

As a part of Harris Place, of course, you will be able to enjoy the thirty foot high, hundred foot long atrium. As a tenant, you may schedule the atrium for your own functions. In addition, the Atrium Cafe is open daily and if you prefer to stay inside, you may get a very nice meal at a reasonable price right there.

Speaking of architecture, Harris Places itself was designed by an architect who was very well known in New York named Leopold Edlitz. It was built in 1885. The spaces facing Masonic Street were added a little bit later. Eidlitz build many buildings in New York City and here, in New London he built others as well, including the First Congregational Church which is only a half block away.

The location in central downtown New London is really beyond prefect. The property is directly across the street from the main New London Post Office. New London City Hall and all the administrative functions of city are next door. There is plenty of parking. The city has constructed two major parking garages and one large open lot. The parking garages are a block in either direction and the open lot is also a block away on Eugene O’Neill Drive, (it is $26, half the price, or less, than the garages).

We would welcome a visit from you. Please come and look at this space, or other spaces of the building, it is unique.

We pride ourselves on the condition of the building particularly the public areas such as the hallways or elevators, courtyard,  sidewalks.  bathrooms etc.

My name is George Waterman. I am the owners’ representative. I have been responsible for this building  for 28 years. I would be happy to show you through the property at any time. There are at least 15 restaurants within two blocks,  many of them first-class. There are two banks, law firms, the Day newspaper, the New London Public Library, and, of course, the transportation center in the great HH Richardson 1885 Amtrak train station.

Please call me, George Waterman, at 917-513-4663 or email me at ghw@gwaterman.com.
